Marcha Ciclo-Turistica Aguanosa II - Frigiliana Frigiliana is a little way inland from the eastern
Costa Del Sol and is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. This event is a race
over 65 kms in the mountains which separate the Costa Del Sol from the heartlands of Andalucia.
A Tough route, with lots of climbs and rocky descents.

Viznar / Sierra De Huetor

Viznar is a beautiful village, close to Granada. This is a very popular social ride through the
stunning scenery of the Sierra De Huetor. 55 kms.

Jerez Horse Fair

From 07th May to 14th May 2008 the Horse Fair Fair will take place in Jerez.

Corpus Christi in Seville
From 25th May to 26th May 2008 the Corpus Christi will be celebrated in Seville.

Territorios Seville
From 20th May to 04th June 2008 there are some more celebrations in Seville.

Ronda 101 - A great event for mountain bikers (including tandems), with a run/mtb duathlon as well.

In 2008 the event will include:

101 km and 175 km mtb races in full time training now.
A 101 km tandem mtb race
A 160 km run/mtb duathlon

All through the spectacularly beautiful countryside around the famous city of Ronda.

Sierra Nevada MTB Race

Cross-country ultra MTB event with 102 and 138 km routes in Spain's highest
mountain range.

Cazorle MTB Race

Very tough and popular race with massive climbs and extremely technical and dangerous
descents! 65 kms in the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura & Las Villas.

MTB Maraton De La Palma

Popular race through the stunningly scenic Ponienta Granadino - "The Last Frontier of Al Andalus".
A challenging 65 km route with a number of short, but tough, climbs, some fun single-track and
exhilarating descents.

Latin American & Spanish Theatre Festival
From 17th October to 28th October 2008 the Latin American & Spanish Theatre Festival will take place - please join us for the cultural event of the year!

Cicloturista de Torrox

A challenging 62 km race and a tough, but fun, non-competitive 43 km route, both of which start
at Torrox Costa and finish in Torrox Pueblo. Monstrous climbs, exhilarating descents and stunning
views!

November

All Saints Day in Cadiz
On 01st November Cadiz celebrates the All Saints Day in a very special way - please join us for a very special experience!

Road Cycling

These events are all conducted as "social rides" with a small race section - think non-competitive club ride, with a race up the toughest hill on the route. The routes are all local classics and, as the events are escorted by the police, the riders have priority over everything else on the road.

Simply the best way to ride a road bike in Spain!

April

Marcha De Rio Frio

A 110 km event for road cyclists and mountain-bikers. A social ride, except for 10 kms in the
middle, which is a race up Alto Fuente Don Pedro - a climb of 500 metres.

Over 200 riders and big crowds. This is a great opportunity to sample some of the big event
atmosphere - without the pain!

June

Marcha De Alfarnate

Approximately 90 kms. A social ride, except for a 7 km race up the "Puerto Del Sol" (486m height
gain).

Approximately 150 riders. This event takes in some of the most beautiful scenery of the Axarquia
region.

July

Ascenso A La Pandera

Approximately 106 kms. Another social ride with a short race section and with some fantatic climbs
through stunning scenery in Jaen province. The race is up La Pandera, a favourite climb of La
Vuelta De España, 1000 metres of climbing in only 8 kms!

Approximately 150 riders. The ascent of La Pandera is on a closed road which is only open to La
Vuelta and this event. A unique opportunity to take on a legendary road racing climb!

Venta Del Rayo - Annual hang-gliding and Paragliding convention. Each evening, from 5pm to
9pm. The skies are alive with hang-gliders and paragliders as enthusiasts from all over Spain and
abroad take to the air. With a marquee and bar catering for participants and spectators, Venta Del
Rayo is the place to be to view this fantastic spectacle!
